Casino Groundskeeper

Job Details: Job Location: Jackpot Junction - Morton, MN, Position Type: Full-Time, Salary Range: $17.00 - $17.00Hourly, Job Shift: Day (Mon-Fri + Some Weekends), ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Mow lawns.
Trim and spray weeds.
Trim bushes and trees.
Clean cement in various locations.
Paint light poles and curbs.
Water flowers.
Clean fountain.
Operate all required groundskeeping equipment.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Groundskeeping experience preferred, but not required.
Must possess valid Minnesota Driver’s License. Applicants with an out of state license must obtain a Minnesota license within 30 days of hire.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES

Basic knowledge of tools, methods, and materials used in grounds and maintenance work.
Able to operate all required equipment.
Able to follow written and oral instructions.
Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented.

UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS

Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
Regular attendance and punctuality.
Ability and willingness to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel and encourage others to do the same.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Mobility throughout the facility.
Able to walk extensively.
Able to bend and stoop repeatedly.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
