Overview
We’re currently looking for a friendly, efficient, and customer-focused Cashier to join our campus dining team at Hampton University. As the first point of contact for our valued guests, you’ll play a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere while ensuring accurate and smooth transactions.
In this fast-paced and people-centered role, your attention to detail and interpersonal skills will shine as you help deliver an outstanding dining experience to every student, faculty member, and visitor.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer transactions and payments.
- Maintain accurate cash and register records.
- Provide excellent customer service and assistance.
- Ensure a clean and organized checkout area.
- Handle returns and exchanges efficiently.
Qualifications
- Strong math and numerical skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Cash handling experience
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
