Cashier - Pharmacy

Position Summary

Receives and processes payments, deposits, petty cash, employee checks, and various miscellaneous items, and balances cash drawer daily. Receives and processes incoming checks, and receives new prescriptions and refills. Interacts with customers by phone and in person, answering questions regarding status of prescriptions and directing them to a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist, when needed.

Performs other duties as assigned such as checking in merchandise orders, stocking shelves, and putting prepared prescriptions in will-call bins.

Minimum Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent or higher required.

1-2 years experience as a cashier in a pharmacy or other retail setting required.

Previous experience as a cashier preferably in a pharmacy.

Pay Range

$16.00 - $21.97
