Cashier / Front of House Team Member

We are currently hiring friendly, motivated Part-Time Cashiers / Front of House Team Members to join the team at our new Slim Chickens restaurant in Waukee, IA!

PAY

We are looking for part-time Cashiers / Front of House Team Members. This Team Member position works a flexible part-time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $15- $16.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR CASHIER

The cashier, whether in the restaurant lobby or the drive thru, is the first person our guests interact with! We are looking for friendly, engaging cashiers / front of house team members to perform the following job duties:

Responsibilities of a Cashier / Front of House Team Member:

• Greeting customers when entering and leaving the premises
• Taking orders on the drive thru headset
• Taking orders on the point of sale in the lobby
• Interacting with all guests in a friendly manner
• Managing transactions using a cash register
• Balancing the cash register
• Accepting payments in cash, credit or check
• Providing change and receipts
• Filling drinks and making shakes
• Processing returns and refunds, and resolving customer complaints
• Upselling and cross-selling when appropriate

Cashier / Front of House Team Member Job Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age
• Experience with POS systems and cash registers
• Basic computer knowledge
• Good math skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to effectively resolve complaints
• No restaurant experience is required; we will train you!
