Position Title: F&B Cashier   

Business Unit: Food & Beverage  

Position Reports to: Restaurant Manager and/or Front of House Supervisor  

Positions Reporting to this Role: None 

Location: Crystal Mountain, Washington 

Wage Range: 17.13-18.50 + tips

JOB SUMMARY 

The F&B Cashier processes guest point-of-sale transactions and assists guests with questions and requests. The position maintains clean, stocked, and organized POS, condiment, and beverage stations, reports on equipment issues, and follows established Food & Beverage policies and procedures. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES 

• Arrives on time, clean, and in proper uniform  

• Clocks in and out according to shift  

• Demonstrates an upbeat, positive attitude and acts and communicates with our guests in a positive manner 

• Responsible for accurate cash handling, making & returning proper change 

• Maintains cleanliness of cashier, condiment, and beverage stations 

• Stocks and refills beverage machines, condiments, and utensils 

• Assists guests with needs as necessary  

• Reports any equipment malfunctions or breakage to the proper channels to resolve the issue ASAP. 

• Abides by and upholds overall customer service standards  

• Adheres to all policies, standards, SOP’s and training as directed by the General Manager and F&B Director. 

• Completes all tasks according to General Manager

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS 

• Experience handling cash and using Point of Sale technology 

• Proven exemplary customer service skills 

• Some venues require intermediate ski or snowboard ability to access 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS 

• This position is required to work evenings, weekends and holidays while in operation. 

• Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis. 

• Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis. 

• Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis. 

• Ability to work for extended periods of time sitting, bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis. 

• Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis. 

• Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
