Position Summary
The Case Aide provides essential technical and administrative support to Case Managers and Employment Specialists within the Refugee Services program. This position helps ensure the timely and efficient delivery of services by assisting with documentation, data entry, referrals, research, file management, and other administrative duties. The Case Aide plays a critical behind-the-scenes role in supporting refugee families while helping maintain compliance with funder and grant reporting requirements.
Essential Responsibilities
Assist Case Managers and Employment Specialists with administrative tasks, reports, referrals, and data entry.
Maintain organized, accurate records to support compliance with funder and grant reporting requirements.
Prepare and manage client files, documentation, and program records.
Provide logistical and administrative support to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
Assist with research and coordination of services with government agencies and community partners.
Support overall refugee resettlement program operations through technical and administrative assistance.
Collaborate with teammates to ensure quality services for refugee clients and families.
Assist with airport pickups and transportation needs when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Refugee Services Coordinator.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Experience
Previous work experience in refugee resettlement, social services, human services, or related direct service fields preferred.
Interest in refugee resettlement and serving diverse populations strongly desired.
Skills & Abilities
Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.
Comfortable working with multicultural teams and diverse populations.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated maturity, flexibility, initiative, and creativity.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think systemically and solve problems effectively.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Licensure & Additional Requirements
Valid driver's license required.
Current vehicle insurance required.
Reliable personal transportation required.
Ability and willingness to transport clients in a personal vehicle when needed.
Working Conditions
Hybrid work environment consisting of office-based and remote work.
Frequent computer use and administrative responsibilities.
Ability to move throughout office and community locations.
Local travel required for client support and program activities.
Occasional airport pickups for newly arriving clients.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
