 About CASA
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) supports children in the foster care system by advocating for their best interests in court. We rely on community partnership and trust-building to grow our ability to serve children.

Position Summary
We’re seeking a motivated, driven, and highly organized part-time team member to help expand our impact by building strong relationships within the court system and other court- and community-related partners.

This role focuses on:

• Outreach and relationship building with court partners
• Working to increase CASA referrals and case openings
• Coordinating logistics and maintaining effective communication
• Demonstrating strong managerial skills to track activities, follow up, and support goals

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with court staff and stakeholders
• Conduct outreach to promote CASA awareness and referral pathways
• Attend court-related meetings as needed to support collaboration
• Track outreach efforts and outcomes (referrals, contacts, follow-ups)
• Follow through with timely communication and follow-up on leads
• Assist with internal coordination to ensure referral information is complete
• Support organizational goals related to case growth and community engagement

Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who has:

• Strong organizational and managerial skills
• Confidence working in professional court settings and with diverse stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• A self-starter attitude—motivated and driven without constant supervision
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and follow through consistently
• Willingness to be in or near Monticello courts/areas regularly for outreach

Preferred:

• Experience with community outreach, volunteer programs, nonprofit coordination, or case-related systems
