BBI is looking for hard working, competitive, and passionate student looking to gain sales experience. As a Carrier Sales Intern at BBI, you will gain hands-on experience through extensive logistic training, providing support to your assigned mentor, and taking on more responsibility as the internship goes on. What you’ll be doing. 

• Gain training on the logistics industry, BBI’s proprietary TMS, and operational tasks that will set you up for success throughout the program. 
• Learn how to sell, book, and dispatch loads in a fast-paced environment  
• Communicate with carriers to negotiate rates and secure capacity  
• Understand market pricing and how it impacts load coverage  
• Assist in covering loads at or below market rate  
• Partner with the Operations team to transition loads after dispatch  
• Work alongside Account Coordinators to understand execution processes  
• Gain exposure to both Carrier Sales (transactional) and Customer Sales (relationship-driven) models 

What you’ll bring to the table. 

• Junior and Senior undergraduates pursuing a bachelor’s degree preferred  
• Able to work in office as this internship does not offer remote opportunities 
• Hard working and positive spirit 
• Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
