Right at Home is looking for passionate individuals to join a dynamic care team providing care for our clients in-home. We provide care for Seniors and Disabled Adults throughout North Central Indianapolis and the surrounding counties. Experience preferred, Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides a plus.

Caregiver provides various personal care and related paraprofessional services in accordance with an established plan of care. Provides for the personal needs and comfort of patients in their homes.

Caregiver Essential Functions
- Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
- Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
- Ambulation
- Dressing
- Grooming
- Assists with feeding
- Engagement activities with client (puzzles, card games, conversation)
- Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
- Meal Preparation in accordance to instruction
- Performing homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.
Caregiver Qualifications
Verbal communication and listening skills
Ability to promote and maintain a safe environment
Dependability
Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured and reliable automobile
Communicate effectively with office staff regularly
Must be willing to follow all company policies and take direction from office staff
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Salary: $15.00 to $16.00 /hour

From companionship and light housekeeping, cooking, and transportation to the store or doctor appointments, to assistance with bathing, toileting and personal grooming, the Indianapolis North office of Right at Home offers non-medical, in-home care and assistance to area seniors and adults with disabilities. From just an occasional few hours, up to 24 hours per day, seven days per week, we're here to help. Services are provided as-needed and there are no long-term contracts or commitments.
We know the importance of helping families care for their loved ones. Our team has a passion for seniors and will create a personalized care plan for each client. We try to match caregivers to clients by personality and interests to ensure compatibility.
Right at Home caregivers are employees, not independent contractors, and are covered under our company worker's compensation and liability insurance policies. Our personal care assistants are experienced. All caregivers must pass reference checks, thorough background checks and random drug tests. Right at Home caregivers are bonded and insured, and are people we would entrust to help care for our own family members.
Our services are highly personalized and flexible. We have no minimums and also don't charge extra for nights or weekends.
