Caregiver / Resident Care Assistant

We are currently seeking a positive, dependable, and caring Caregiver (Resident Care Assistant) to join our team.
Job Type: Begins as Part-Time
Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Position Overview
As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity, safety, and meaningful engagement. You will help create a warm, homelike environment where residents feel valued and supported.
Key Responsibilities

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): dressing, hygiene, bathing, toileting, eating, mobility, and more

Support instrumental ADLs: housekeeping, laundry, personal belongings, and telephone use

Monitor resident safety and overall well-being

Document important health and behavioral observations

Participate in life enrichment activities alongside residents and Life Enrichment staff

Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment

Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers

Complete light administrative and supply-related tasks

Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
-
Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or similar care settings

Experience working with individuals with dementia or older adults

Knowledge of healthcare practices
