Capillary Lead Field Technician and Dispatch

Job Details: Job Location: 3031 Midland TX - Midland, TX, Salary Range: Undisclosed, ROLE
The Lead Field Technician / Dispatch for TPS Capillary & Gauge will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily activity of the fleet and equipment related to capillary and downhole gauges. This role is meant to be a dual position, with the employee in a rotation of being in the field seven days and then on dispatch the next seven days.
The job duties herein describe essential functions of the position. Additionally, regular attendance and punctuality are essential to the success of the position. The individual should be able to perform these essential functions with or without requested reasonable accommodations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Collaborate with the Operations Manager and co-lead to develop and implement operational plans, including deployment of fleet and equipment, scheduling of jobs, and 3rd party vendors.
Oversee the maintenance, repair, and utilization of the company's fleet of vehicles and equipment, including capillary and downhole gauges.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance, coordinate repairs and replacements, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to fleet and equipment, employee performance, safety compliance, and operational activities.
Maintain regular communication with customers to understand their needs and expectations.
Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct pre-job safety meetings with onsite personnel, and select topics as needed.
Oversee installation/retrieval of Capillary/Gauge equipment, while monitoring equipment and personnel on site for safe, efficient operation.
Effectively interpret and communicate instructions to other employees, contractors, and field representatives in a professional and respectful manner.
Train field personnel on installation and maintenance of capillary and gauge equipment and preform competency field examinations.
Promote and strictly adhere to all Company HSE policies and practices.
Stop work authority to shut down worksite at any time due to safety concerns including but not limited to improper use of tools/equipment, departures from procedures, or anything else in employee’s discretion.
Conduct all business activities in accordance with company code of conduct, policies and procedures and all applicable legal requirements.
Perform other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
High school diploma or GED.
Bachelor’s degree in an industry-specific role is advantageous.
Proven experience in supervising field operations.
Dispatch experience preferred
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
The ability to work in different environmental conditions.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position will be based out of the TPS’s Midland facility and will require trips to the field in all types of weather conditions. It requires working on rig sites where surface areas are often muddy or slippery. It also requires working around heavy machinery, mechanical equipment with moving parts and electrical equipment as well as exposure to loud noises and contaminants. The employee is regularly required to operate vehicles on company business and drive long distances on company business.
