Job Description
Campus Card Center Student Worker
The Student will report to the Director of the Campus Card Center and
assist with the daily office functions of the Campus Card Center while
providing excellent customer service and responsiveness. The position may
require some weekend or holiday hours based on the needs of the office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with maintaining day to day operations and facilitating a customer service-oriented environment.
- Assist with the daily production and distribution of ID Cards (eCards).
- Support maintaining campus card accounting procedures to ensure proper collection of funds.
- Participate in all campus training (Title IX and other programs) that promote a campus environment in which racial and ethnic differences are respected and appreciated.
- Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of all system and office-generated data, card transactions, and reports.
- Process all paperwork related to deposits, applications, and replacement eCards.
- Answer phone calls and questions from students and parents regarding the eCard.
Qualifications:
- Current ESU Student
- Excellent customer service skills
- General knowledge of computers
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Communication skills to be able to assist customers over the phone
- Strong attention to detail to ensure procedures are followed accurately
- General knowledge of ESU’s campus is preferred, but not required
Additional Information:
- Hourly rate $7.25
- Up to 20 hours per week subject to change.
