We are seeking an entry-level CAD Drafter to support our Engineering Department. This role is ideal for someone with CAD training, strong attention to detail, and a desire to gain hands-on experience working with engineers on product designs and improvements.

Position Summary

The CAD Drafter assists the engineering team by creating and updating drawings, maintaining documentation, and supporting product development projects. This position plays an important role in converting design concepts into accurate CAD drawings and manufacturing documents.

Key Responsibilities

Create and revise CAD drawings based on engineering requirements.
Update existing product drawings and documentation.
Assist with bills of materials (BOMs) and engineering records.
Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Support engineers with product improvements and new product development.
Maintain organized project files and documentation.
Follow established quality and safety procedures.
Assist with other departmental tasks as needed. 

Qualifications

Associate degree, technical certificate, or vocational training in CAD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
0-2 years of experience in drafting or a related field.
Basic knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks experience preferred).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good computer and math skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
