About the Role:The Old Salt at Lamie's Inn in Hampton, NH is looking for an energetic and reliable Busperson/Food Runner to join our team! This is a fast-paced, guest-facing role where you'll play a vital part in delivering an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities:
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the correct tables accurately and promptly
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a smooth dining room flow
- Assist servers with table maintenance, refilling water, and removing used dishes
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure timely food delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and bussing areas
- Provide friendly, attentive support to guests throughout their dining experience
- Assist with opening and closing side work as needed
Requirements:
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required — we'll train the right person!
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and focused
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and a genuine passion for guest service
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player
