Business Systems Analyst III

Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

This position sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output. Determines system requirements and communicates them through the use of specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Identifies issues that affect system processes and assists in correcting. Ensures compliance through testing and analysis. Produces advanced reporting based on data analysis, user input, and system testing. Identifies patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. May develop process enhancements based on analysis results. Provides expert technical support for systems by responding to escalated inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Implements recommended modifications and enhancements. Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units, offering guidance on systems and data output.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Support, Analytics, Operations Support, or related field plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as a Data Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics or related occupation.

Requires experience with Salesforce administration with strong understanding of custom objects, security model, flows and system configuration. Requires ability to perform detailed business model analysis and assess business requirements against existing Salesforce implementations to provide technical consulting by identifying functional gaps, inefficiencies and redundancies. Requires strong understanding of Salesforce ecosystem, data model and integration points, ensuring system designs and solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices and avoid platform limitations. Requires experience with data analysis and data modelling, including analyzing system data structures, defining entity relationships and ensuring data integrity within Salesforce data model. Requires ability to review Salesforce components and system configurations to investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and identify appropriate technical solutions. Requires knowledge of Rail or other leasing business models, translating industry-specific processes into scalable Salesforce solutions and system designs. Requires experience designing Salesforce reports and dashboards to support operational visibility and enable data-driven decision making. Requires proficiency in Jira for sprint management and issue tracking, Visio for creating process flows, data flows and current vs. future state process mapping.

The base pay for this position is generally between $139,050 to $169,945 per year. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
