Pay: $22.00/hr

We are seeking to hire a
part-time Business Support intern to support our Tax Department in January 2027
– April 2027. This position would be in-office at our
Ithaca, NY location.

Responsibilities:

·         Gain
a basic understanding of how tax processing workflows through the office in
various computer programs

·         Scanning
and uploading tax documents

·         Assembling
and processing of Individual, Partnership, and Business Tax Returns.

o    Scan,
proof, copy and bind tax returns or financial statements

·         Assist
with CPE tracking and support with auditing certificates as needed

·         Improving
basic organization and planning skills

Requirements:

Business,
Accounting, or Communication students who are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s
degree program. Students must be returning to school to be eligible. Qualified
candidates should have excellent communication skills, self-confidence, and be
self-motivated and capable of working productively in a professional
environment. Must be conscientious, detail-oriented, intellectually curious,
and have excellent organizational skills. Basic knowledge in Microsoft Word,
Excel and PowerPoint is required.
