This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional who combines strong relationship-building skills with a deep understanding of technology, market trends, and customer needs.

Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth initiatives and expanding our market presence by:

• Building and executing strategic account and growth plans
• Identifying, qualifying, and advancing high-potential opportunities
• Developing and managing a robust sales pipeline aligned to business objectives
• Cultivating executive-level relationships with customers, partners, and industry leaders
• Collaborating with capture, delivery, and leadership teams to develop winning solutions and proposals
• Influencing pursuit and capture strategies that position Helix for success
• Monitoring market trends, competitive activity, and customer priorities to identify growth opportunities
• Representing Helix at industry events, conferences, and thought leadership forums
• Contributing to the Helix brand through content creation, industry engagement, and innovation initiatives

Qualifications

You are a strategic thinker, trusted advisor, and natural relationship builder who enjoys turning opportunities into long-term partnerships. You bring:

• 5+ years of business development, capture, or technology sales experience
• Proven success building qualified pipelines and winning new business
• Experience engaging large enterprise organizations and key decision-makers
• Strong knowledge of emerging technologies, AI, and digital transformation trends
• Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills
• The ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results without direct authority
• Strong business acumen with a customer-first mindset
• Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• A self-motivated approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Required Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least one industry-recognized technology certification (Microsoft, AWS, CompTIA, cybersecurity, or similar)
• Minimum of six years of relevant professional experience

Preferred Competencies

• Master's degree in Business, Technology, or a related discipline
• Experience within emerging technology, AI, cloud, cybersecurity, or digital modernization environments
