About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, high-impact Business Development Manager (BDM) specializing in Email Deliverability & Infrastructure Services. In this role, you will lead our growth strategy by identifying and closing high-value sales opportunities across email deliverability consultancy, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) for high-volume sending, complex server configurations, and urgent inbox placement remediation.

Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Generation & Opportunity Discovery
- Proactive Prospecting: Identify and engage high-volume email senders, SaaS platforms, enterprise marketing agencies, and high-growth e-commerce brands needing specialized deliverability solutions.
- Consultative Discovery: Conduct deep-dive discovery calls to uncover technical email issues (e.g., domain reputation damage, spam folder placement, blocklisting, rate limiting, poor inbox rates).
- Technical Solution Matchmaking: Match client pain points to our core service lines:
- Strategic Email Deliverability Consultancy & Audits
- Scalable Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) for email sending
- Enterprise-level server and DNS setup (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI, reverse DNS)
- Crisis remediation, blocklist removals, and IP/Domain warming programs
Deal Execution & Revenue Growth
- Proposal & Solution Pitching: Partner with internal technical deliverability engineers to design tailored technical proposals, SOWs (Statements of Work), and managed service agreements.
- Closing High-Value Deals: Lead full-cycle sales engagements from cold outreach through technical scoping, commercial negotiation, and contract execution.
Market Strategy & Leadership
- Stay ahead of industry shifts, ISP policy updates (Google, Yahoo, Microsoft), and email authentication requirements to position our solutions proactively.
- Provide continuous market feedback to technical and product teams regarding client pain points, competitor offerings, and emerging deliverability needs.
- Track pipeline metrics, forecast accurately, and maintain clean CRM data.
Requirements & Qualifications
Must-Haves
- Sales Track Record: 3–5+ years of B2B business development or account executive experience selling technical services, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or specialized agency services.
- Email Domain Expertise: Proven understanding of the email ecosystem—including SMTP, MTA setups, IP warming, inbox vs. spam metrics, ISP policies, and authentication frameworks (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI).
- Consultative Selling Skills: Experience managing complex, technical sales cycles, communicating directly with CTOs, VP of Marketing, Heads of Product, and Growth teams.
- Self-Driven Prospector: Proven capability to generate self-sourced pipeline alongside incoming leads.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working at an email service provider (ESP), deliverability consultancy, cloud infrastructure provider, or high-volume sending platform.
- Existing network of high-volume email senders, affiliate marketers, SaaS founders, or agency partners.
