Regional Sales Manager - Municipal Utilities

Manufactured Technologies Corporation (MTC) is looking for a Regional Sales Manager for Central Region of the United States including North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and over to Michigan and Indiana.  This is a remote position but you must live within the region.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering or Construction Management

• 8 years of sales experience with municipalities, energy clients or general contractors within the trenchless industry

• Sales experience or knowledge of CIPP highly preferred

• Must be comfortable meeting sales activity and performance expectations with a genuine interest in serving customers, self-motivated, competitive and achievement oriented, and capable of working independently within a team structure while being supervised remotely

• Strong interpersonal skills – good listener/communicator, problem solver and negotiator

• Must be able to travel 50 to75% of the time

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for helping MTC grow its sales with clients in the Central Region of the United States

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the optimal Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) installation and long-term performance products and services

• Identify, develop and close sales opportunities to help achieve its revenue and profit goals

• Conduct in-person and/or digital sales calls with existing customers and prospects

• Qualify leads for subsequent opportunities using Salesforce (our CRM tool)

• Remain current on sales performance – i.e., status updates on activity, forecast and wins

• Prepare quotes and set pricing including technical specifications within the bid/scope documents

• Assist customers with product design questions, submittals, technical data and deliver prompt investigation of client concerns, providing solutions and/or referral to appropriate MTC staff

• Cultivate market intelligence and perform analysis of competitor products, services and pricing

• Route customer orders and wet out requests to Customer Service team

• Represent MTC at trade shows and/or professional organizations

• Assist with A/R collections

• Participate in the development of future business plans, sales and marketing communications
