Job Summary:
Schmitty & Sons Bus Company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive sales and tours within our Gray Line Minnesota tours and charter division. This role is responsible for generating new sales, developing marketing initiatives, managing tour schedules, and ensuring high-quality service for clients. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with a passion for travel and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Business Development: Generate new charter coach and tour sales by identifying and pursuing potential clients and partnerships.
• Marketing & Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing coordinator to create and execute marketing and sales campaigns to drive business growth.
• Reporting: Provide monthly reports on sales performance, revenue generation, and business development initiatives.
• Networking / Client Relations: Attend networking events and client meetings to promote services and build strong relationships.
• Trade Shows & Conferences: Represent the company at industry trade shows and conferences to generate new business opportunities.
• Client Presentations: Deliver engaging presentations on Schmitty & Sons' services to potential and existing clients.
• Tour Itineraries Content Creation: Develop and manage tour itineraries, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
• Scheduling & Coordination: Oversee tour schedules, ensuring seamless execution and coordination with internal teams.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, tourism, or charter transportation industry.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving targets.
•Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
•Experience in marketing campaigns and promotional strategies.
•Ability to travel as needed for networking events, trade shows, and client meetings.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and proficient email communication skills.
Requirements:
•Must qualify and be willing to obtain CDL license with SB, airbrake and passengerendorsement.
•Drive CDL bus when required.
•Learn dispatch functions and step-in to assist operations as needed.
•Willing to work in a team environment and motivate sales coordinators.
