SUMMARY:
Responsible for food preparation and breakfast setup, cleaning of food and beverage areas, and assisting with setup and cleanup for special guest functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist with and/or place orders for breakfast food.
Submit all delivery invoices to the General Manager or verify and audit all accounts payable against the delivery receipt.
Prepare and set up breakfast food.
Conduct regular inventories of food, paper products, and non-perishable supplies used for breakfast.
Maintain food and breakfast supply levels throughout breakfast service.
Keep the breakfast area clean by mopping/sweeping floors, cleaning countertops and equipment, etc., during and after breakfast hours.
Maintain company standards by recording food temperatures and following all established health department codes and requirements.
Complete all required food safety certification.
Assist with the setup of meeting rooms and banquet functions as needed. Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of meeting rooms during and after meetings.
Thoroughly clean public areas daily in accordance with company standards.
Clean tables and chairs in the breakfast area as needed.
Notify the Supervisor, Operations Manager, AGM, or General Manager of any issues with cleanliness or equipment.
Complete maintenance work orders and submit them to the supervisor/manager or designated area in a timely manner.
Utilize the L.E.A.R.N. model for all guest recovery incidents that occur (Listen, Empathize, Apologize, React, Notify).
Always maintain a friendly and welcoming demeanor when interacting with our guests.
Be responsible for knowing all hotel emergency procedures.
Follow all hotel safety guidelines and requirements.
Be responsible for following all hotel quality assurance standards for the department.
Be responsible for the proper administration and control of keys issued.
Be responsible for the proper handling and administration of keys left behind by guests.
Turn in all lost and found items to the supervisor or manager's office for proper documentation and storage.
Accommodate special guest requests courteously.
Respond to guest questions regarding hotel facilities, services, and the local area.
Perform any reasonable requests made by management that the employee is capable of performing.

Mantener limpia el área de desayuno, trapear/ barrer los pisos, limpiar las encimeras y el equipo, etc. durante y después de las horas del desayuno
Mantener los estándares de la empresa mediante el registro de las temperaturas de los alimentos y seguir los códigos establecidos por el departamento de salud
Completar la Certificación completa de seguridad alimentaria
Ayudar en la configuración de salas de reuniones y banquetes según sea necesario. Ayudar a mantener la limpieza de la sala de reuniones durante y después de la reunión.
Limpiar las áreas públicas a fondo todos los días, de acuerdo con los estándares de la compañía.

Limpiar las mesas y sillas del área de desayuno según sea necesario
Notificar al Supervisor, Gerente de Operaciones, AGM o Gerente General de cualquier problema con la limpieza o el equipo.

Utilizar el modelo L.E.A.R.N para todos los incidentes de recuperación de invitados que se produzcan (Escuchar, Empatizar, Disculparse, Reaccionar, Notificar)
Siempre tener un comportamiento amigable y acogedor al interactuar con nuestros huéspedes
