Job Details: Job Location: Denton, TX - Denton, TX, Salary Range: $16.00 - $17.00Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Day, $1,000 sign on bonus for experienced Brake Operators
Anchor Fabrication is a precision metal fabrication company located in Denton, Texas, and is seeking experienced Press Brake Operators for the 1st shift Hours at 7am-3:30pm Monday- Friday plus any overtime.
Qualified candidates will be self-motivated and work with limited supervision, setting up and operating a Press Brake to bend, form, and straighten metal stock according to blueprint or specifications.
Duties and Functions:
Set up and operate all machine types in the Brake Department.
Read blueprints and conduct first/last piece inspection.
Apply knowledge of metal properties to bending operations.
Perform clerical and labor reporting duties.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
May be required to work overtime or different shift than originally assigned based on company needs.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications:
5 years minimum experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry preferred.
Blueprint reading
Good math skills
G/D & T Knowledge and must pass test.
Amanda and Trumpf Brake experience a plus.
Epicor experience a plus.
Education:
High School or Equivalent
Technical School Experience a plus
