Summary
Instruct beginning through advanced recreational athletes aged 1 to 15 in the sport of gymnastics. Develop and follow lesson plans while effectively communicating with both athletes and their parents.
Job Description
In Search of:
Boys/Girls Gymnastics Instructors, Part-time (10-15 hours per week) at the North Canton Gymnastics Center
Hourly rate:
$11.30/hr
Qualifications:
- Experience in gymnastics or working with youth
- Excellent leadership skills and communication skills
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse age and ability of kids
Responsibilities include:
Seeking energetic, fun candidates who are focused on sharing and teaching the sport of gymnastics to our beginning through advanced recreational athletes.
- Teach athletes 1-15 years old
- Interact & communicate effectively with athletes and their parents
- Follow and/or develop lesson plans in accordance with the established gymnastics curriculum
- Display & promote mission & character pillars of YMCA
*** Part-time staff receive complimentary memberships and discounted rates for child care and most programs.
