Bowling Technician
Location: Launch Entertainment Park – Orlando, FL

Join Our Team
Launch Entertainment Park is seeking an experienced Bowling Mechanic to maintain, repair, and optimize our string bowling equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, and has hands-on experience servicing string pinsetter systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our guests enjoy a safe, reliable, and high-quality bowling experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on all string bowling pinsetter equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with bowling machines.
- Troubleshoot pinsetter malfunctions and restore equipment to operational status quickly.
- Inspect lanes, approaches, ball returns, scoring systems, and related equipment.
- Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments according to manufacturer specifications.
- Replace worn or damaged components as needed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair records.
- Coordinate with management regarding equipment performance and parts inventory.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards.
- Assist with general facility maintenance as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience servicing string bowling pinsetter systems is required.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and hand/power tools.
- Ability to read service manuals and technical diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined mechanical areas.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Brunswick, QubicaAMF, Funk, US Bowling or other commercial string bowling systems.
- Basic knowledge of computerized scoring systems.
- General maintenance experience including electrical, mechanics, or robotics.
