Job DetailsJob Location: Gilro, CA 95020Salary Range: $17.00 - $17.00 HourlyThe Boo Spots department is looking for motivated and energetic associates to take our guests to the next level! This Halloween season, as a Boo Spots Associate at Gilroy Gardens, you will be tasked with handing out candy to our trick-or-treating guests as they make their way through the Great Big Boo!

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time. 

- Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs. 

- Ability to work outdoors, with continual exposure to a variety of weather conditions 

- Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks involving the hands and wrists. 

- Ability to walk for extended periods of time 

- Ability to work outdoors with exposure to a wide variety of weather conditions. 

- Ability to work in a confined space; approximately 2’ by 2’. 

- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. 

- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and other employees of the organization

JOB SPECIFICATIONS 

- Must be at least 16 years of age 

- Must have reliable transportation 

- Must have full availability, including weekends and holidays 

- Must have good communication skills 

- Ability to work in all weather conditions 

- Must have the following abilities to satisfactorily perform the ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

Lifting objects weighing up to 40 pounds 

Frequent standing, walking, bending, balancing, and reaching above shoulders 

Operation of dolly 

Ability to follow written and oral instruction 

Ability to perform basic math functions 

Problem solving with minimal supervision 

Organizing and prioritizing to meet deadlines
