Hourly rate based on experience.  We pay higher than the average restaurants in the area pay, and tips are great.  Walk-ins welcome but we encourage you to complete our easy application.  If hired you will have to complete the appllication at the restaurant and decisions will be made on the spot in most cases.

Servers

Responsibilities:

• Greet and escort customers to their tables with a smile.
• Present our fantastic menu and provide detailed information when asked.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly to keep the good vibes flowing.
• Check in with guests to ensure their satisfaction and address any issues with a positive attitude.
• Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Proven restaurant serving or waitstaff experience.
• Attention to cleanliness and safety.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Hosts

Summary: As a Host at TooJay's Deli, you will be the friendly face that greets our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring guests are seated promptly and efficiently!

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner that makes them feel at home.
• Seat guests and manage the seating chart with ease.
• Respond to guests' inquiries and accommodate special seating requests with a smile.
• Assist with cleaning and setting tables in the dining area to maintain our inviting ambiance.
• Support the team in creating a positive dining experience that guests will rave about!

Qualifications:

• Previous host experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.

Cashiers/Deli Bakery Coordinators

• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers with accuracy.

Line Cooks

Bussers

Dishwashers

Summary: Join the TooJay's Deli team as a Dishwasher, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, helping us maintain our high standards!

Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a dishwasher is preferred but not required.
