Job DetailsJob Location: Blue Sky - Garden City, KS 67846Education Level: NoneTravel Percentage: NoneThe Prep and Assembler position is responsible for preparing buns, preparing baskets,  building orders correctly, and ensuring food is presented consistently before reaching the customer. The team member is responsible for reading tickets on the KDS screen and being able to write abbreviations correctly on baskets. The team member is also responsible for making all salads correctly according to Blue Sky recipes and waiting for the correct protein (if added) to be completed for that salad before sending it out.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare buns according to Blue Sky standards.
Toast or prepare buns as required for each menu item.
Memorize all abbreviations used to correctly write out baskets per order.
Assemble baskets correctly and neatly.
Use the correct toppings and condiments for each order.
Match baskets and items to the correct order.
Maintain proper portion control.
Communicate with grill, fry, and expo stations.
Keep the basket-making area stocked and organized.
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation.
Check completed orders for accuracy and presentation before sending to expo.
Assist other kitchen positions during slower periods.

Expectations

            The team member will show up to work on time, in uniform, and ready to work. Accuracy, time management, and organization is critical in this position. Every basket should be assembled neatly, completely, and according to the customer’s order. Employee must stay organized and communicate clearly with management and every position.QualificationsPrior experience preferred
