Summary

As an Advisor, Process Improvement, you will function as an advanced-level subject matter expert with significant impact on departmental and cross-functional objectives. You will lead complex process improvement initiatives, provide expert consultation to business leaders, and drive the adoption of continuous improvement principles throughout the organization. Leveraging extensive knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, operational excellence, process redesign, and change management practices, you will develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges while helping shape process improvement strategies, standards, and methodologies.

Your role in our mission

Drive operational excellence by leading strategic improvement efforts that enhance organizational performance, reduce waste, improve quality, and enable sustainable business outcomes.

• Serve as a recognized subject matter expert in process improvement methodologies, providing strategic guidance and consultation to business leaders and stakeholders.

• Lead highly complex, cross-functional process improvement initiatives that significantly impact operational performance, customer outcomes, quality, and efficiency.

• Analyze organizational processes, performance metrics, operational data, and business challenges to identify enterprise-level improvement opportunities.

• Apply advanced Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and operational excellence methodologies to solve complex business problems and drive sustainable results.

• Facilitate executive-level discussions, workshops, Kaizen events, value stream mapping sessions, and root cause analyses to support strategic business initiatives.

• Design and implement innovative process solutions that address complex organizational challenges while balancing operational, technical, regulatory, and business requirements.

• Develop future-state process architectures, governance models, performance frameworks, and continuous improvement roadmaps.

• Evaluate interdependencies across functions, systems, processes, and organizational structures to ensure improvement initiatives align with broader business objectives.

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators, operational metrics, and measurement frameworks to assess improvement effectiveness and business impact.

• Influence organizational decision-making through data-driven recommendations, business case development, and executive presentations.

• Lead the adoption and maturation of continuous improvement practices across business units and functional areas.

• Guide project teams and business stakeholders in the application of process improvement methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Contribute to the development of organizational standards, methodologies, policies, and governance related to process excellence and operational improvement.

• Mentor and coach process improvement practitioners and operational leaders to strengthen continuous improvement capabilities across the organization.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 8 or more years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, business transformation, continuous improvement, consulting, or related disciplines.

• Demonstrated success leading large-scale, complex, and cross-functional process improvement initiatives with measurable business outcomes.

• Advanced knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and operational excellence methodologies.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt certification strongly preferred.

• Extensive experience facilitating executive stakeholder engagements, strategic workshops, process redesign efforts, and transformational improvement activities.

• Expertise in process mapping, value stream analysis, root cause analysis, performance measurement, and change management methodologies.

• Strong ability to analyze complex operational environments and develop innovative solutions to multifaceted business challenges.

• Experience influencing senior leaders and driving organizational change without direct authority.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect process improvement initiatives to enterprise goals and strategic objectives.

• Exceptional analytical, facilitation, communication, consulting, and presentation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives and navigate ambiguity in complex business environments.

• Ability to understand and address interrelationships among multiple business functions, processes, and systems.

• Leadership of strategic initiatives with broad organizational impact.

• Development and refinement of methodologies, standards, governance practices, and continuous improvement frameworks.

• Provision of expert consultation and guidance to leaders, stakeholders, and improvement teams rather than primarily executing individual improvement projects.

The pay range for this position is $90,900.00 - $129,900.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
