Purpose:  The BIM Specialist is responsible for changing and creating project drawings.
 
Essential Duties include the following:

Complies with all company safety policies
Works with existing Architect drawings and makes necessary revisions for projects
Creates new drawing designs from concept
Works with Project Manager on site visits; measures building layouts
Works with engineering team to assist in design/build
Understands and performs 3-D coordination via Revit and Navisworks
Provides and creates detailed shop drawings for installation
Performs other duties as assigned
QualificationsQualifications/Requirements:

Associate’s Degree in Computer Drafting or equivalent combination of training and experience
Competence in Microsoft office products, AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks
Strong organizational, file and data management skills
Good communication skills, including verbal and written

Physical Requirements:

Possess good vision (normal or corrected)
Able to get to customer job sites
Able to walk and stand for long periods of time
Able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead

Work Environment:  Well-lit, heated, and/or air-conditioned modern office setting with adequate ventilation.
