BH Worker/Peer – Part Time

Location: Coffee Peer Program                                     Closing date:  Open until filled

Hourly Rate:  Commensurate with experience Range:  $17 - $20. Additional compensation with certification.

Hours: Monday-Friday, it will vary based on needs. 

General Description: Assists with activities and group service provision in a day program for clients with behavioral health diagnoses and/or co-occurring conditions. Accomplishes client care by assessing treatment needs; developing, monitoring and evaluating treatment plans and progress; facilitating interdisciplinary approaches, and monitoring client performance. Will also assist in transporting clients to/from residence and to/from program. 

Qualifications:  Level of position I-III is dependent upon level of experience.  1 - 3 years of professional or personal experience in supporting mental health challenges or individuals with disabilities. Must be 21 and have valid Georgia's driver's license and have dependable transportation for commuting. Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification preferred but CPS eligibility required. Must be able to obtain certification within one year of hire.
