Job Description
Job Details: Job Location: IDARNG JFHQ - Boise, ID, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Compass Medical Provider, LLC is seeking a Behavioral Health Administrative Support professional to provide administrative and program support within a military behavioral health environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the behavioral health field, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively interact with service members, military families, leadership, and community partners.
This is an in-person, full-time position supporting behavioral health-related programs and initiatives for the Idaho National Guard.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and program support for behavioral health initiatives and related programs.
Assist with coordinating, organizing, and supporting behavioral health activities, training, and educational opportunities.
Prepare course instruction materials, technical documents, user guides, presentations, and other program resources.
Provide recommendations and administrative support related to policies, procedures, regulations, directives, and applicable National Guard programs.
Communicate effectively with leadership, service members, families, individuals, and groups.
Assist with presenting and providing training to individuals and large groups.
Help communicate program information and recommendations in a clear and professional manner.
Support initiatives designed to promote awareness, prevention, readiness, and overall well-being within the military community.
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when working with sensitive behavioral health-related information.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of one year of experience working in a behavioral health field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with computers and common office applications.
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization.
Ability and confidence to speak, present, and train in front of large groups.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Ability to understand and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and program directives.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience working with or supporting military families and their unique challenges.
Experience working with individuals across the lifespan, from children through older adults.
Familiarity with military and National Guard programs, policies, and administrative processes.
Experience developing training materials, presentations, technical documentation, or instructional resources.
Program Knowledge
Knowledge or experience with the following programs is highly desired:
Family Readiness Programs
Suicide Prevention and Awareness Programs
Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Programs
National Guard Bureau and Idaho-specific programs and initiatives

This role requires someone who is comfortable working independently, interacting with leadership and service members, and presenting information to both individuals and large groups.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as the successful candidate will need to build rapport, explain recommendations, address concerns, and help others understand and support program objectives.
