Behavior Technician | $23–25/hr + Paid RBT Certification
Help young children with autism learn to communicate, play, and build independence. No experience needed, we train you and pay for your certification.

At FirstSteps for Kids, you'll work one-on-one with young children, building the communication, play, and everyday-life skills that help them succeed at home, in school, and in their community. You'll see the small wins up close: a first word, a first friendship, a child doing something today they couldn't do last week. And the skills you help teach now don't just shape a good day, they change the trajectory of a child's whole future.

What we're looking for

• People who are patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy working with kids
• Experience with children through work, school, or volunteering is a plus
• A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle + insurance
• Comfortable getting on the floor to play and moving quickly when needed

• Childhood vaccinations (MMR & Varicella) and non-reactive TB test 
• Access to reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit on floors and/or child-sized furniture, and quickly move from a seated position to running stance
