We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and clinically driven Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our clinic-based team. This position provides the opportunity to develop individualized ABA programs, mentor RBTs, collaborate with families and interdisciplinary providers, and deliver high-quality, ethical clinical services in a supportive environment.

Position Summary

The BCBA is responsible for the development, implementation, supervision, and ongoing evaluation of individualized ABA programs. This position provides clinical oversight to RBTs, conducts parent and caregiver training, monitors treatment outcomes, and collaborates with families, schools, funding sources, and interdisciplinary providers.

The BCBA will maintain high standards of clinical quality and treatment integrity while supporting a collaborative, positive, and sustainable clinical environment. Unlike traditional high-pressure BCBA positions, this role is designed around manageable caseloads, strong administrative support, predictable schedules, and meaningful clinical work.

Required Qualifications

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
Master's degree or higher in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field
Demonstrated passion for helping children and families
Commitment to ethical and individualized clinical practice
Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
Ability to provide effective mentorship and supervision to RBTs

Preferred Qualifications

Experience providing ABA services in a clinic-based setting
Experience supervising and mentoring RBTs
Experience providing parent and caregiver training
Experience collaborating with schools, funding sources, and interdisciplinary providers

Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful completion of required background screening
Verification of education and professional credentials
Completion of all agency-required onboarding and compliance requirements

What You'll Do

Clinical Program Development & Oversight

Develop individualized ABA programs based on client needs, assessment results, and treatment goals
Oversee implementation of individualized treatment programs
Review and analyze clinical data to evaluate treatment effectiveness
Make data-driven modifications to treatment plans and programming
Monitor treatment integrity and ensure clinical programs are implemented appropriately
Ensure services are consistent with ethical and evidence-based ABA practices
Drive high-quality clinical outcomes for individuals served

RBT Supervision & Mentorship

Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians through coaching, feedback, and modeling
Provide ongoing clinical guidance and support to RBTs
Observe treatment implementation and provide performance feedback
Support RBT skill development and professional growth
Promote a collaborative and supportive clinical team environment
Communicate clear expectations regarding treatment implementation and client care

Parent & Caregiver Training

Provide parent and caregiver training to support skill acquisition and generalization
Develop collaborative relationships with families and caregivers
Teach caregivers strategies to support behavioral and skill-development goals across environments
Lead monthly parent meetings
Communicate client progress, treatment recommendations, and program updates effectively
Support families in understanding and implementing evidence-based behavioral strategies

Data Collection & Clinical Documentation

Monitor client data and assess progress toward treatment goals
Review data regularly and make appropriate programming decisions
Ensure accurate and timely completion of clinical documentation
Maintain treatment records in accordance with agency and funding-source requirements
Ensure documentation supports medical necessity and ongoing treatment
Monitor treatment fidelity and address barriers to effective implementation

Collaboration & Communication

Collaborate with families, schools, funding sources, and interdisciplinary providers
Participate in team meetings and treatment planning discussions
Communicate effectively with RBTs, caregivers, clinical leadership, and external stakeholders
Coordinate services and recommendations across relevant providers and environments
Maintain professional and respectful relationships with all members of the treatment team
Advocate for individualized, ethical, and clinically appropriate services

Clinic Operations

Support light center operations as needed
Assist with opening and closing responsibilities
Provide oversight of client recess and lunch periods as needed
Help maintain a safe, organized, and supportive clinic environment
Collaborate with leadership and administrative staff to address operational needs
Support a positive experience for clients, families, and staff

Professional Development

Maintain active BCBA certification and meet all applicable certification requirements
Maintain professional knowledge and skills through continuing education and ongoing learning
Participate in ongoing professional development and CEU opportunities
Stay current with evidence-based ABA practices, ethical standards, and applicable professional requirements
Participate in clinical consultation, mentorship, and training opportunities
Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and clinical excellence

Compensation

Supervision:
Prior supervisory experience is not required, but preferred. Behavior Consultants are required to provide supervision and direction to two or more RBT’s.

Education and/or Experience:
Non-BCBA Position any of the following:
•Minimum Master’s Degree with BCBA “in progress” desirable.
•BCaBA
•Bachelor’s Degree + semester units in applied behavior analysis + 1 year direct care experience
•Bachelor’s Degree + 2 years of direct care experienceBCBA Position: Currently holds BCBA.

Physical Demands:
Ability to run, stand, sit, stoop, crawl, kneel, reach, push, and lift a child weighing 50 pounds; vocal & hearing acuity; use of a computer; ability to travel via automobile.

Background Checks and/or Licensing:
Must be 18 years of age or older; criminal background check; reference checks; provide a negative TB test; provide immunization records; education verification; current drivers license and proof of valid auto insurance.

Other Requirements:
Must have reliable means of transportation; availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week; and have access to a computer with knowledge of internet, e-mail and Microsoft Office applications.
