Our Bartenders are friendly and hospitable; they ensure that drinks and food are made to our guests liking. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
- Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations.
- Present menu, answer questions and make suggestions regarding drinks, food, and service.
- Mix and garnish beverages according to recipe and portion control standards.
- Present and serve beverages to guests.
- Observe guests to fulfill any additional requests and to perceive when meal has been completed.
- Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates, cards and vouchers.
- Clear and reset counters and tables at conclusion of each guest.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout shift, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
- Stock and maintain the bar to include, but not limited to, beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.
- Work with the hotel team to create and deliver a memorable service experience for guests.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to mix common cocktails.
- Knowledge of food service regulations.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communications skills required.
- Able to easily and quickly lift and carry heavy trays.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to utilize quick thinking and apply quick resolution to guest issues in accordance to the brand standards.
- Excellent conflict-resolution skills.
- Able to work in fast paced environment.
- Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.
- Server Training Card current or willing to take the class
