JOB SUMMARY:  Provide customers of The Provision Café with excellent customer service and quality products in a Christ-centered, friendly, upbeat and clean environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, offering to help, explaining menu and options, and accurately take orders.
Properly and promptly prepare food and beverages in accordance with The Provision Café standards.
Ability to clearly communicate knowledge about daily menu availability and pricing, ingredients and preparation techniques for all food and beverages served.
Perform cleaning tasks following health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist in general organization and daily operations of all areas associated with The Provision Café.
Replenish supplies as required.
Ability to open/close The Provision Café.
Efficiently and accurately operate cash register.
Perform other duties as requested.
Support the Senior Pastor and all other church staff.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Barista experience using a semi-automatic espresso machine.
Food Service experience.
ServSafe certification.

REASONING ABILITIES/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing duties of this job, employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance.  Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and schedule form.
