- Welcoming guests promptly and creating a friendly, engaging atmosphere from the moment they approach the bar.
- Presenting beverage menus, answering questions, and making thoughtful recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards.
- Demonstrating strong knowledge of spirits and understanding how different ingredients and flavors work together in cocktails.
- Executing wine service when needed and confidently discussing beverage selections with guests.
- Taking beverage orders accurately from both guests and Servers and entering them promptly into the POS system.
- Upselling drink specials and food items when appropriate and directed by Management.
- Communicating allergies and dietary restrictions clearly and accurately on guest tickets.
- Taking tables in the bar or dining room when assigned by Management.
- Checking in regularly with guests to ensure they are satisfied with their food and beverages.
- Processing guest payments, credit card transactions, and change accurately.
- Assisting with the setup and breakdown of banquet spaces when needed.
- Keeping bottles, glassware, bar tools, and supplies organized, stocked, and ready for service.
- Maintaining a clean and polished bar, including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas.
- Reporting equipment or maintenance concerns to Management promptly.
- Responding to guest requests and concerns with professionalism, urgency, and genuine care.
- Supporting fellow Curators and helping maintain a positive, collaborative service environment.

Education and Experience
- Previous bartending, serving, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage service preferred.
- Ability to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes.
- Ability to confidently answer guest questions and make beverage recommendations.
- Ability to execute professional wine service when required.
- Strong planning, organization, and guest service skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to accurately operate a POS system and process guest payments.
- Ability to follow food safety, sanitation, service, and cash-handling procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with Restaurant, Banquet, Culinary, and Hotel teams.
- Ability to support and assist fellow Curators during busy service periods.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout the bar, restaurant, and banquet areas for extended periods.
- Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
- Ability to repeatedly lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to safely handle glassware, bottles, bar equipment, food, beverages, and service equipment.
- Ability to assist with banquet setup and breakdown, including moving supplies and service equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent guest interaction and changing priorities.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the bar and service areas.
- Ability to remain professional, attentive, and hospitable during high-volume service periods.
- Must maintain a polished appearance and adhere to all grooming and uniform standards.
