PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Baker I is responsible for assisting in the presentation, display, and production of baked goods and pastries, with an emphasis on quality, appearance, and service.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Assist in preparing baked goods and other items as needed, following the designated recipes and procedures 

• Display baked goods creatively and keep displays well-stocked, clean, and organized 

• Present a courteous attitude to guests, going out of the way to offer assistance, on the phone or in person 

• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment 

• Other duties as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Minimum of 3 months of experience in baking or culinary school 

• Able to stand for long periods of time 

• Able to lift and carry full sheet pans 

• Must be able to work a variety of shifts including early morning and evening shifts 

• Customer service and teamwork skills

PAY RATE: 

• Pay: $20.00 per hour
