AY2627 Office Assistant - Forensic Science (Work-Study Required)

The Duquesne University Forensic Science & Law Department is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated student worker to provide office and event support for the department. This position is ideal for a student looking to gain professional office experience while working in a collaborative academic environment.

Primary Responsibilities
·· Provide general office support, including filing, copying, scanning, and organizing documents.
·· Assist faculty, staff, and students with general inquiries.
·· Assist with preparing materials for classes, workshops, meetings, and department events.
·· Help with event setup, registration, check-in, and cleanup for department programs and special events.
·· Organize office supplies and assist with inventory management.
·· Deliver and pick up materials across campus as needed.
·· Assist with data entry, spreadsheets, and maintaining department records.
·· Complete other administrative and departmental projects as assigned.

·· Comfortable multitasking and working in a fast-paced office environment.
·· Flexible schedule with availability to assist during occasional department events.
Hours
Approximately 10–15 hours per week, with flexibility around class schedules
