Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
Looking for a student to work 3 hours per week for the ‘26-27 school year, assisting with research on changing contextual conditions for nonviolent political activism. The student worker would collect evidence of the use of lawfare to discourage protests and the use of creative strategies of protest. This collection would require the ability to use library, media and social media resources and to conduct interviews. Weekly meetings with Prof. Thalhammer are required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The student researcher would summarize and create a file of images and news stories and conduct and/or transcribe interviews as well as create a bibliography of sources accessed.
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
Applicants should have completed Analyzing Politics (PSCI 220). Those who have taken or are taking PSCI 370 are preferred. Work should be manageable from campus, using library and computer resources, including Google Meet.
