Our Volkswagen store is looking for a Service Sales Manager who is ready to take ownership of the service lane, develop our advisors, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Service Advisor to step into management and make a meaningful impact.

Previous management experience is welcome—but proven advisor performance, leadership potential, and a commitment to doing things right are what matter most.

Your Opportunity to Lead

This is a hands-on leadership position—not a job spent watching the service drive from an office. You will be in the lane, supporting the team, engaging customers, and turning expectations into consistent results.

Your responsibilities will include:

Own the service lane. Oversee daily activity, coordinate advisor coverage, manage customer flow, and keep the team organized and responsive. Set the standard for professional greetings, thorough write-ups, and a smooth service experience.
Coach advisors and drive performance. Help each advisor achieve established key performance indicators, including sales, gross profit per repair order, hours per repair order, effective labor rate, recommended-service conversion, and customer satisfaction. Review results, identify opportunities, and provide coaching that leads to improvement.
Champion the customer experience. Build trust through clear explanations, accurate expectations, timely updates, and an exceptional delivery process. Step in early to resolve concerns and help turn first-time guests into loyal customers.
Make great processes happen consistently. Reinforce tablet write-ups at the vehicle, complete multipoint inspections, timely presentation of recommendations, proper customer authorization, declined-service tracking, and active delivery. Help advisors communicate the value of needed maintenance and repairs without pressure or shortcuts.
Keep work moving. At stores with fewer than 15 technicians, this position also includes repair order dispatch. Assign work based on technician skills and availability, monitor progress, balance workloads, and communicate changing completion times to advisors.

Who We’re Looking For

You are an experienced automotive Service Advisor or service leader with a track record of strong performance and customer care. You can sell, but you also know how to explain, listen, coach, and follow through.

You bring organization to a busy lane, stay composed when the day gets challenging, and hold yourself to the same standards you expect from others. You are comfortable using performance reports and dealership technology to identify opportunities—and you understand that leadership means helping others improve, not simply telling them to work harder.

Volkswagen or other import-brand experience is a plus. The ability to lead by example is essential.

Compensation: 

Base pay of $4,500.00 monthly. Monthly commission of 3.5%-4.5% of the Service Department net profit. Monthly bonus of 1.0% of the Service Department gross profit if CSI is at or above National average.

Paid Time Off (PTO): All new employees earn 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked in compliance with the applicable state paid sick leave law. Following 36 months of continuous service, full-time employees earn an additional 40 hours of PTO each anniversary year; following 120 months of continuous service, full-time employees earn 80 hours of PTO each anniversary year, according to terms of PTO policies.
