Cadillac & GMC of Carlsbad is looking for motivated, professional Automotive Sales Consultants to join our growing team.

We are looking for more than someone who can simply sell a car. We want sales professionals who understand that today's customer expects fast communication, knowledgeable guidance, consistent follow-up, and an exceptional experience from the first phone call or internet inquiry through delivery and beyond.

Our dealership represents some of the most exciting vehicles in the industry, including the Cadillac Escalade, LYRIQ, OPTIQ, VISTIQ, GMC Sierra, Yukon, Canyon, Acadia and GMC HUMMER EV.

Responsibilities

Assist customers through the entire vehicle purchase process, from initial contact through demonstration, negotiation, delivery and follow-up.
Respond quickly and professionally to internet leads, phone calls, text messages and showroom customers.
Maintain consistent and persistent follow-up with prospective and previous customers.
Send personalized walk-around videos to customers to showcase vehicles, answer questions and create a more personal buying experience.
Utilize phone, text, email and video communication to engage customers and generate appointments.
Work your CRM every day, maintain accurate customer notes, complete assigned tasks and keep your sales pipeline organized.
Confirm appointments and maintain communication with customers before their dealership visit.
Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives while maintaining strong product knowledge.
Understand Cadillac and GMC technology, features, trim levels, incentives and available programs.
Build value in both the vehicle and the dealership experience rather than relying solely on price.
Work closely with sales managers to structure opportunities and maximize every customer interaction.
Follow dealership sales processes consistently, including manager introductions and proper customer handoffs.
Maintain communication with customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction, generate repeat business and earn referrals.
Prospect for additional business through previous customers, unsold customers, referrals and outbound communication.
Participate in ongoing sales meetings, product training and process training.
Represent Cadillac & GMC of Carlsbad professionally both in person and through digital communication.

QualificationsWhat We're Looking For

Automotive sales experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable communicating with customers by phone, text, email and personalized video.
Ability to follow a structured sales and follow-up process.
Strong work ethic and willingness to prospect for business rather than simply wait for showroom traffic.
Organized and disciplined with CRM usage and daily follow-up.
Competitive, goal-oriented and motivated by performance.
Professional appearance and communication skills appropriate for Cadillac and GMC clientele.
Ability to learn vehicle technology and confidently demonstrate product features.
Coachable attitude and willingness to continually improve.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented dealership environment.
Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not required.
