We're looking for motivated accounting students to join our Audit team for the Spring 2027 season. Our interns are considered an integral part of the team and gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced audit professionals on real client engagements.

This internship provides an opportunity to apply what you're learning in the classroom, develop practical accounting and audit skills, and gain a better understanding of what a career in public accounting looks like.

What You'll Do
As an Audit Intern, you'll work under the guidance of our experienced audit professionals and gain exposure to different stages of the audit process. Responsibilities may include:
•    Assist with the preparation of audit workpapers and supporting documentation
•    Assist with internal control testing across various industries
•    Support the preparation and drafting of audit-related documents
•    Communicate with engagement team members regarding assigned work and client matters
•    Work within established deadlines and time budgets
•    Learn and utilize the Firm's audit and accounting software, policies, procedures, and professional standards
•    Participate in training and professional development opportunities
•    Maintain the confidentiality of Firm and client information
•    Develop professional communication, organization, and time-management skills
•    Participate as an active member of the Audit team throughout the internship

What We're Looking For
•    Current junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting; qualified students with relevant accounting coursework may also be considered
•    Completion of foundational accounting coursework
•    Interest in pursuing a career in accounting, audit, or public accounting
•    Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
•    Professional and positive attitude
•    Strong communication and organizational skills
•    Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
•    Availability to work approximately 20–25 hours per week during the January–April 2027 internship period
•    Ability to work from our Frederick, MD office

You'll work alongside experienced audit professionals, contribute to real client engagements, and gain a better understanding of the audit process and what a career in public accounting looks like.

We also view our internship program as an important part of building our future team. Top-performing interns who are nearing graduation may be considered for full-time Staff Accountant opportunities following graduation, while students continuing their degree may have opportunities to extend their internship or return for a future season.
