About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Audit Intern to join our Audit team. This internship provides hands-on experience in evaluating internal controls, assessing risks, and conducting audits to help ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and is eager to develop practical auditing and analytical skills in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and executing audit projects.
• Perform audit testing and document results in accordance with established procedures.
• Review financial records, transactions, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in identifying process inefficiencies and control weaknesses.
• Analyze data and prepare reports, summaries, and audit workpapers.
• Support risk assessments and compliance reviews.
• Help track audit findings and follow-up actions.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.

Qualifications

Required

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Estimated weekly hours are 15 to 20. 

Preferred

• Previous experience is a plus.
• Coursework in Auditing, Accounting, Internal Controls, or Risk Management.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools.
• Interest in pursuing CPA.
