Job Description
PYA is seeking Audit & Assurance Interns to join its high-performing and privately-owned firm in Spring 2028. With a dynamic culture and a strong national reputation, PYA offers a robust development and mentorship program to help you learn and grow in your pursuit of a meaningful career.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow documentation standards and prepare clear, concise, and orderly working papers
- Perform audit procedures as assigned by supervisors, including planning, execution, and reporting
- Obtain an understanding of the audit work performed and its purpose
- Perform other accounting, auditing, and administrative duties as needed
POSITION TYPE
- 40 hours/week
- January – April 2028
QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuit of a bachelor degree in accounting or related field required
- Ability to apply skills previously learned through demonstrated technical agility on a variety of assignments
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written
- Openness to feedback, and a desire to pursue personal excellence
