How you’ll contribute 

An Athletic Trainer who excels in this role:

The Certified Athletic trainer is responsible for providing sports medicine services for the prevention, Diagnosis, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. This position is an outreach position providing coverage to a secondary school. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Providing onsite care for the diagnosis, management, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.

• Set up referrals of student athletes to appropriate physicians for further evaluation and imaging.

• Implement injury prevention strategies through education, postural and ergonomic coaching, and promoting overall wellness. 

• Ensure effective communication with Physicians and coaches regarding the injury status and/or limitations of student athletes. 

• Documents patient encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR)

• Performs administrative and other duties as assigned by supervisor

What we’re looking for 

• Education: Bachelor's Degree Required
• Must be BOC certified and be eligible to possess state athletic training licensure, certification or registration (Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) certification). NPI Number Required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
