As an Associate Sales Engineer, you'll play an important role in helping prospective customers understand how Ideagen's solutions can solve real business challenges. Working alongside experienced Sales Engineers and Account Executives, you'll develop your technical, consultative and presentation skills while supporting customer engagements across the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Sales Engineers with customer discovery sessions, product demonstrations and proof-of-concept activities
• Preparing demo environments, presentations and supporting materials for customer meetings
• Building an understanding of customer challenges and helping connect business needs to Ideagen solutions
• Learning and applying sales methodologies, including how opportunities are qualified and progressed
• Developing knowledge of Ideagen's products, industries and customer use cases
• Using approved AI tools and resources to support preparation, research and customer interactions
• Gathering customer and market insights and sharing feedback with internal teams
• Collaborating closely with Account Executives, Product teams and Sales Engineering colleagues to support successful customer outcomes

Skills and Experience

• You have strong communication skills and enjoy engaging with a variety of people and stakeholders
• You are naturally curious and interested in understanding how technology can solve business problems
• You are motivated to learn and develop a career in technical pre-sales, solutions consulting or software sales
• You are comfortable presenting information and explaining ideas in a clear and accessible way
• You enjoy working collaboratively and building positive relationships across teams
• You are organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
• You may have experience in a customer-facing, technical, sales, support or graduate role, although this is not essential
• Exposure to SaaS, enterprise software or regulated industries would be beneficial, but we welcome candidates from a wide range of backgrounds
