About the Role

The Associate Renewal Manager is responsible for managing the renewal process for a high volume of customers to ensure the on-time renewal of expiring agreements that address customer needs while maximizing retention, uplift, and term.

Here's What You'll Do

• Manage a high volume of customers with low-value ARR to secure renewals with limited negotiations, ensuring timely contract execution and revenue retention within assigned accounts; assist with efforts to drive proactive renewal management to ensure all contracts are renewed on time and exceed individual renewal rate goals
• Collaborate with the assigned Account Team to support the development and execution of renewal strategies, providing operational assistance and insights that contribute to successful customer outcomes; partner with internal stakeholders including Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Support teams to provide comprehensive customer assistance throughout the renewal process
• Communicate renewal products, pricing, and terms to customers and partners clearly and effectively, ensuring understanding of value propositions and contract options available for their renewal
• Assist with reviews of forecast renewal pricing, timing, and risk factors across assigned accounts; help with the preparation of regular reports and insights to the leadership team to inform retention strategies
• Update customer information, renewal details, and engagement notes in designated company systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness to support cross-functional collaboration, reporting, and operational efficiency
• Assist with the review of renewal agreements to ensure clarity of terms, obligations, and risks; provide feedback to internal stakeholders and support compliance with company policies; attend all required enablement training sessions and complete assigned professional development programs to build expertise in renewal operations, product knowledge, and negotiation skills

Role Essentials

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 2 years in a customer-facing role; strong business and technology acumen with knowledge of company software technology
• Oral and written communication skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact; ability to establish rapport, gain the trust of others, and build consensus
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills; self-motivated with the ability to complete projects in a timely manner; able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with excellent attention to detail
• Collaboration skills applied successfully within a team as well as with all levels of employees in other areas; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain solid rapport with team members and professionalism with those outside the department
• Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, and mobilize team members and business partners; ability to work both independently and in a team environment

What We'd Like to See

• Microsoft Windows and Office proficiency; knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Products
• Experience managing a high volume of customer renewals with limited negotiations in a SaaS or software environment
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Support to drive successful customer outcomes
• Experience with contract review and an understanding of renewal terms, obligations, and risk factors; familiarity with compliance and contract execution processes
• Demonstrated ability to prepare reports and insights for leadership teams to inform retention strategies; experience maintaining data accuracy in CRM or designated company systems
