Job Overview

The Associate Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics is the operational and analytical backbone of the Berkley School of Nursing (BSON). This role owns the data and systems infrastructure that connects every stage of marketing and engagement from prospect student to alumni. This role transforms data into forward-looking intelligence (not simply after-the-fact reporting) that informs enrollment, paid media performance, school rankings, clinical excellence and engagement strategy across BSON's program portfolio.

This is an intentionally hands on systems focused role that combines the expertise of a Salesforce CRM data architect, part marketing data operator, part forecasting analyst. The Senior Manager works inside Salesforce Marketing Cloud and BSON's interfaces with adjacent university systems (Education Cloud, Slate, LMS platforms) to build and optimize appropriate data integrations for reporting. This person ensures effective data inputs from/to vendors and agencies. In addition, this role leads the day-to-day data operations as BSONs point of contact.

Additional duties include, but are not limited to:

• Own Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture and CRM data systems for BSON.
• Build predictive models for enrollment yield, deposit risk, and lead scoring.
• Maintain integrations and program-level lifecycle funnel / engagement reporting.
• Own paid media performance reporting and full-funnel attribution.
• Oversee market analysis
• Input data governance across Salesforce systems building out data models.
• Deliver executive dashboards and data storytelling for school leadership
• Support the annual Brand Health Study and competitive intelligence research, as needed.

Work Interactions

The Associate Director reports to the Senior Director of Marketing Strategy & Engagement and works as her primary business intelligence partner. The Associate Director partners with the BSON Admissions team and Georgetown University’s Undergraduate admissions on applicant-stage data. Additional engagement with Georgetown University’s Advancement teams regarding alumni and donor data points, the University’s Information Systems and University’s Medical Center departments on Salesforce and data governance questions, and external partners on data delivery and campaign performance. The Associate Director does not set paid media strategy; the role informs strategy that is supported by data modeling and appropriate data tracking in Salesforce.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field is required
• Candidates must have five to six years of experience in marketing analytics, CRM administration, or institutional research, ideally in higher education or healthcare, including hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a comparable marketing automation platform (Data Extensions, Journey Builder, UTMs, segmentation)
• Demonstrated experience building forecasting or predictive models, such as enrollment yield, funnel conversion, or cohort risk, rather than descriptive reporting alone, is required
• Knowledge of GA4 and UTM-based attribution, strong Excel and data visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI, or similar), and the ability to translate complex data into clear, decision-ready recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred:

• Master’s preferred in data analytics, business intelligence, computer science, or similar
• Experience with Salesforce Education Cloud or a comparable post-enrollment student success platform.
• Familiarity with paid media performance metrics and agency reporting structures.
• Experience working across multiple university data systems (admissions, advancement, LMS).

• Comfortable owning both technical systems work and day-to-day operational execution.
• Self-directed; capable of managing competing priorities across five lifecycle stages without close supervision.
• Effective communicator and data storyteller across technical and executive audiences.
• Collaborative across university units without overstepping into functions owned centrally (Advancement, GUMC, central Admissions).

Pay Range:

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:

$54,616.00 - $100,493.33

Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
