The Opportunity:

Revolution Medicines is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Global Mobility & Immigration to lead and evolve our global immigration, mobility, and relocation programs as the company enters its next phase of growth.

As RevMed continues to grow and expand globally, we are looking for an experienced leader to help shape a global mobility program that meets both the current and future needs of our organization and employees. This is a senior role responsible for leading and running the global mobility and immigration function, including U.S. and global immigration, U.S. domestic relocation, and international employee moves.

The Associate Director will work collaboratively across our global organization, serving as a trusted subject matter expert and partner to employees, managers, business leaders, People partners, and external advisors. This individual will help navigate complex immigration and mobility situations and develop practical, compliant, and scalable solutions that consider both local requirements and broader organizational needs.

The successful candidate will take ownership of an established program foundation and continue to operationalize and evolve our policies, processes, vendor partnerships, and employee experience. We are looking for someone who brings deep expertise, strong judgment, a collaborative approach, and a continuous improvement mindset and who is comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee RevMed's U.S. and global immigration programs, including employment-based immigration, work authorization, permanent residence sponsorship, and country-specific immigration requirements, with particular focus on supporting our growing presence across Europe, Japan, and other markets.

• Lead RevMed's U.S. domestic relocation and international mobility programs, including domestic moves, international transfers, and other cross-border employee arrangements.

• Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on complex immigration and mobility matters, partnering with stakeholders to assess risks and alternatives and develop clear, practical recommendations.

• Partner with immigration counsel and other external advisors to navigate country-specific requirements and complex global immigration matters.

• Evaluate international mobility situations collaboratively with internal and external experts, considering immigration, tax, payroll, employment, compensation, benefits, cost, and employee experience.

• Manage relationships with immigration counsel, relocation providers, and other mobility partners, incorporating input from global HRBPs, business leaders, employees, and other stakeholders to continuously improve service delivery and program effectiveness.

• Maintain and evolve immigration, relocation, and global mobility policies, processes, governance, and documentation as RevMed's global footprint and workforce needs change.

• Identify and implement opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls, reduce manual work, and improve the employee and stakeholder experience.

• Proactively monitor immigration and mobility risks, regulatory developments, work authorization requirements, employee moves, policy exceptions, and other critical program milestones.

• Develop program metrics and reporting to provide visibility into activity, costs, risks, vendor performance, and opportunities for improvement.

• Build strong partnerships across global and U.S.-based teams, including People Operations, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Payroll, Legal, Finance, Tax, and business leaders to develop mobility solutions that address both local and enterprise needs.

• Lead through influence and collaboration, bringing together stakeholders across functions and geographies to resolve complex or non-standard situations and drive aligned decisions and solutions.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

• 8+ years of progressive experience in global mobility, corporate immigration, employee relocation, or a related field.

• Deep knowledge of U.S. employment-based immigration combined with significant experience supporting global immigration matters across multiple countries and jurisdictions.

• Broad experience with European immigration and mobility matters and familiarity with immigration and mobility considerations in Japan and other international markets.

• Experience managing U.S. domestic relocations and international employee moves.

• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations, assess risk, evaluate alternatives, and develop practical solutions in partnership with relevant stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of the immigration, tax, payroll, employment, compensation, and benefits considerations associated with international mobility.

• Experience managing immigration counsel, relocation providers, and other global mobility partners.

• Demonstrated experience improving processes and evolving programs to support organizational growth, international expansion, and changing business needs.

• Strong program management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional and cross-regional partnerships and influence decisions without direct authority.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations for a range of audiences.

• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and discretion when handling sensitive employee matters.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience owning or evolving a global mobility and immigration program in a growing global organization.

• Experience supporting an organization through international expansion or significant workforce growth.

• Experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or another highly regulated industry.

• Experience developing or evolving immigration, relocation, or global mobility policies and governance.

• Experience leveraging technology, data, and automation to improve mobility or immigration operations.

The base pay salary range for this full-time position for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA is listed below. Our base pay salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual base pay salary is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.

Base Pay Salary Range$177,000—$221,000 USD
