The Role

As the Associate Creative Director, Experiential, you'll partner closely with the Executive Creative Director, taking briefs and ensuring clarity of the ask, while working with cross functional teams to shape immersive brand experiences. You'll contribute to new business strategy, guide creative development, and ensure each concept aligns with client objectives. You'll be a key player in developing innovative designs, pitching ideas, and executing memorable projects that raise the bar in experiential marketing.

The Responsibilities

• Support New Business Strategy: Collaborate with the ECD and BizDev to position ASTOUND as a leader in experiential marketing by developing creative approaches that prioritize impactful user journeys.
• Collaborative Creative Ownership: Assist in leading ideation sessions and shaping creative briefs. Develop concepts into presentations with copywriting, moodboards, and storytelling to communicate the big idea effectively.
• Client Engagement: Engage with clients during pitches and discussions, gathering insights and feedback to inform the creative process while ensuring alignment with their vision.
• Design Support: Partner with 3D designers and production teams to translate creative concepts into practical and impactful designs that deliver on client objectives.
• Trade Show and Exhibit Design: Contribute to the creation of smart, resourceful solutions for trade shows and exhibits, ensuring alignment with budgets, timelines, and creative goals.
• Immersive Experience Development: Assist in the conceptualization and delivery of cohesive, audience focused experiences for trade shows, activations, and events.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside team members to foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and growth, supporting skill development and encouraging fresh perspectives.
• Trend Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to inject innovative ideas into ASTOUND's experiential designs.
• AI to elevate work and not to replace humans: Strong curator and not afraid of the various AI tools.

Qualifications

• 6 years minimum in a creative role, as a copywriter or art director
• Management experience is an asset, whether of teams or businesses
• Strong portfolio rooted in experience design, with additional disciplines mastered
• University or college degree in a related field
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
• Team oriented and adept at collaborating across functions and levels
• Proven experience in experiential design and client engagement
